… My mind is reeling.

This is quite possibly the first time I’ve been excited about a Filipino comic book, ever. I only heard about Wasted after it was already published, Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah was a bit too fabulous for my tastes, and Arnold Arre’s way too overrated in my opinion.

But this. Wow. Jose Rizal and the Secret History of the Philippines. Alan Moore’s the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen coupled with Warren Ellis’ Planetary, in the PHILIPPINES.

Hopefully (although I know how unrealistic this is) at least the first issue’ll be out by the time I take PI 100 next semester. What a way to learn about Rizal. Wow.
